My account was approved for pop sockets last Monday and I sold my first three days later.
In this episode I will be sharing my strategy for pop sockets and why it’s different from others.

Good morning, Lisa. I just got approved for pop sockets a few days ago, and admittedly, I didn’t know what they were. My boss at work has one and I honestly thought she was just using a cell phone stand this entire time. But I can’t wait to start designing for them.
Anyhow, after five months on Amazon, I just had my first $1k month in June. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy but I’m also a bit disappointed that 90% of my sales came from one Evergreen niche. I’m tier 1000 at the moment.
All of my slots are full, so now I’m wondering if I should bother trying to break through with other niches (I’ve tried many without much luck) or if I should just keep pounding away at what’s working? I guess I fear that this niche will eventually dry up.
Mike, I would STRONGLY encourage you to expand into other niches. I have lost track of how many topics I currently sell in. When you create a design that can work across multiple niches, that will really help you expand.
Dig deep and think specific. I think sometimes people are thinking too broad. For example, instead of doing a profession, niche that down even more to a type of person in that profession. So instead of a police officer, do a woman police officer. Instead of a teacher, do an assistant principal. Really think about the different kinds of people you can target that aren’t so broad.
With competition increasing, it’s so important to really niche down. You might think you’re being too specific but you would be surprised.
